In an effort to support up and coming Student Paramedic Professionals, Ambulance Service Australia opens the Student Ambulance Paramedic Program to 2nd year and beyond Paramedicine students.

Graduate Paramedic Intern Program Full-time, Part-time and Casual
The Ambulance Service Australia Graduate Paramedic Internship is a 24 month facilitated educational and operational program. This program will prepare you for practice as an independent Paramedic Practitioner.

Patient Transport Officer Full-time, Part-time and Casual - Canberra and Sydney
Patient Transport Officers (PTOs) ensure the safe and effective transport of patients from hospital to home, home to hospital, nursing home to nursing home – wherever they need to go to receive medical treatment or return afterwards. 

PTO staff are highly trained health practitioners (Minimum Cert III) who ensure patients conditions are monitored and the appropriate medical treatment provided.  They at times respond to medical emergencies as first responders.  For more information, please email our team below.
Paramedic Officer Full-time, Part-time and Casual - Canberra and Sydney
Paramedics with Ambulance Service Australia provide high-level pre-hospital care in motorsport and other settings. The scope of clinical practice is high and a 'Patient First' philosophy will see you succeed within our team.

You will be responsible for delivering exceptional prehospital care by attending regular in-service training, conducting reflective practice and maintaining registration through AHPRA.

You will have the opportunity to learn and practice extended Paramedic skills, e.g. EZ-IO insertion and i-Stat device use.  For more information, please email our team below.
Intensive Care Paramedic Casual - Canberra and Sydney
Intensive Care Paramedics with Ambulance Service Australia provide the highest level of pre-hospital Paramedical care in motorsport and other settings.

The scope of clinical practice is high and a 'Patient First' philosophy will see you succeed with our team.  You will be responsible for delivering exceptional prehospital care by attending regular in-service training, conducting reflective practice and maintaining registration through AHPRA.
